Process for Change/ Update Address and Other Details

• You must fill out this application as the primary applicant. Then attach the proof of alteration in address or other details.
• If the applicant does not have proof of a change of address, they may submit the form to the following people
  • Gazetted Officer - Group A
  • Village Panchayat Head, or Mukhiya
  • Gazetted Officer - Group B
  • MP/ MLA/ MLC/ Muncipal Councilor
  • Tehsildar
  • Head of Recognized Education Institution
  • Superintendent/ Warden/ Matron/ Head Institution
  • Recognized shelter houses/Orphanages
  • Officer EPFO
• Then , you must visit the nearest Aadhaar Center along with this application form for changes in address, as well as apply online for such Address change in Aadhaar Number through this link - Address Change Link

UIDAI lets users of Aadhaar cardsto change their address, without needing documents. Aadhaar cardholders can change their address, even if they had not presented the proof of identity.

New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India has temporarily suspended a crucial service that lets you alter the address of your Aadhaar card's address with no documentary proof of address.

UIDAI allows holders of Aadhaar cards to change their address without requiring any paperwork. Aadhaar cardholders can change their address, as long as they are willing to accept the authentication for the verification of address. A verifier of address could be a relative, friend, landlord or family member who can allow the Aadhaar card owner to verify their address.

UIDAI has stopped using this feature. UIDAI was notified by an Aadhaar Card Holder by tweeting that the capability to change the address on Aadhaar Card using an Address Validation Form has been ended. UIDAI has asked that the Aadhaar issuer to notify users that they are able to change their address with another authentic PoA document.

UIDAI lists the following documents in the form of POA documents (Proof of Address) documents that contain the name and address for Aadhaar cards

Passport

Statement/Passbook for Post Office Accounts

Driving license

Water Bill (not older that 3 months)

Telephone Landline Bill (not older that 3 months)

Bank Statements for Credit Cards (not over 3 months).).

A signed letter with a photograph from a registered company on letterhead

Pensioner Card

Freedom Fighter Card

Kissan Passbook

Passport of Spouse

Documents of their parents (in the case of minors)

Central/ State Govt. It issued an allotment order to accommodate. (Not over 3 years)

Bhamashah cards/Jan Aadhaar cards issued Governmentt. Rajasthan

Certificate from the Superintendent/ Wardenor Matron/ Head of Institution of a recognized shelter orphanages. on UIDAI standard certificate format for enrolment/ update
